Dr. Khanna Dog & Cat Clinic, a name synonymous with trust and dedication, first opened its doors in 1987 in Wazirpur.
It was here that our visionary founder, Mr. Bodhraj Khanna, laid the cornerstone of what would become a beloved institution for pet parents. With Dr. Gill serving as our pioneering veterinarian, the clinic quickly established itself as a beacon of hope for furry companions, offering much-needed medical attention and heartfelt care.
The early years in Wazirpur were defined by a deep commitment to the well-being of every animal that walked through our doors. Following Dr. Gill’s tenure, Mr. Khanna diligently appointed many other skilled veterinarians to continue providing top-notch care as the clinic’s reputation grew. This foundational spirit of service and genuine affection for pets fueled our growth, leading to a significant relocation in 1994 to Pitampura. This move allowed us to expand our reach and continue to provide exceptional veterinary services to a growing community of pet owners.

Dr. Rajkumar Khanna, a distinguished veterinarian at Dr. Khanna Dog & Cat Clinic, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to animal care. His foundational education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc AH) from CCS HAU in Hisar.
Furthering his commitment to advanced veterinary medicine, Dr. Khanna pursued his Master’s degree in Wild Animal Health from the prestigious Royal Veterinary College with the support of a Commonwealth Scholarship. During his time there, he was a proud member of the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), actively engaging in multiple studies across various fields of veterinary science.
Dr. Rajkumar Khanna’s dedication and significant contributions to the field of veterinary science have been widely recognized. For his excellent services and profound knowledge, he was honored with the Bharat Jyoti award. His academic achievements and practical experience make him a highly respected figure in the veterinary community, ensuring that pets at Dr. Khanna Dog & Cat Clinic receive the highest standard of care.

Dr. Garima Saxena, a highly esteemed veterinarian at Dr. Khanna Dog & Cat Clinic, embodies a lifelong commitment to animal welfare. Her innate passion for providing the best healthcare services to animals blossomed early on.
Her academic journey led her to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) and subsequently her Master’s degree in Veterinary Pathology (MVSc) from CVAS RAU (now RAJUVAS), Bikaner, Rajasthan. These rigorous programs provided her with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her chosen field.
Prior to joining Dr. Khanna Dog & Cat Clinic, Dr. Garima Saxena served as a veterinary officer in the Rajasthan Government, gaining valuable experience in public service and animal health administration. For the past 20 years, she has been an invaluable asset to Dr. Khanna Dog & Cat Clinic, consistently providing the best of her knowledge and expertise to countless pet owners and their beloved companions. Her unwavering dedication and compassionate approach make her a trusted and respected figure in the community, reflecting the clinic’s enduring commitment to excellence in animal care.
